How to opt out of DeepSeek
Open DeepSeek on the web. Go to chat.deepseek.com and sign in.
Open the account menu. In the left sidebar, click the three dots next to your profile name.
Go to Settings. Select Settings from the menu.
Open the Data tab. Click Data (or Data controls on some builds).
Turn off training. Toggle off Improve the model for everyone.
Repeat on mobile. In the iOS or Android app, open the sidebar → three dots next to your name → Settings → Data controls, then turn off the same toggle.
Request removal of past data. If you want conversations you already sent to be excluded from future training runs, email privacy@deepseek.com with your account email and a brief request. This is separate from the toggle.
